students with mayor, board member

On May 10, 2021, the US Food and Drug Administration approved using the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination for students ages 12 to 15.  On May 12, both a vaccine safety review panel with the Centers for Disease Control and the Estern States Scientific Safety Review Workgroup recommended that students in that age group receive the vaccine.

A number of vaccination opportunities for students are now opening around the Bay Area. We will list as many as we can on this web page.

All participants need to bring:

  • Completed copy of consent form (hard copies will also be available at the site)
  • Picture ID (parent/guardian ID ok!)
  • Insurance information (if you have it - no one will be turned away for lack of health insurance)
  • Mask

The vaccine is free, but please do bring your insurance card so Wellspring can bill your insurance company for the administration fee.

All children under the age of 18 need to have a consent form signed by a parent/guardian. More information - including FAQs about vaccinating children - are available here.
