When Your Child is Sick
Introduction
The health, safety, and well-being of our students and staff is AUSD's highest priority. As such, we follow both state law and public health guidance and mandates to support the health status of the children in our care.
In October 2023, the California Department of Public Health released new guidelines for when students should stay home from school and when it is ok for them to attend school. Those guidelines are listed below.
