Device verification helps protect your account.
ParentSquare will ask for a code when you:
- Log into ParentSquare from a new computer, phone, or tablet.
- Haven’t verified your device in the last 6 months.
- Log into ParentSquare from a shared device where someone else has logged in before.
After you verify your device, logging in will be easier. But sometimes, you might have a problem during verification. Please choose the statement that best describes what you’re experiencing:
You received your code, but it doesn’t work.
Make sure you’re using the latest code we sent you. If your code isn’t working because it expired or there was a delay, you can ask for a new one. Only one code works at a time, so when you get a new code, the older code(s) won’t work.
If it has been more than 10 minutes, please select “Resend Code” to receive a new code.
You didn’t get the verification code.
For users who have previously logged into ParentSquare
Welcome back! If you’ve logged into ParentSquare before and you’re not getting the code, try these steps:
- Wait up to 5 minutes to receive the code.
- Check your spam, junk, or quarantine folders. If you find it there, mark the email as safe. If there’s a quarantine folder, you might need to ask your admin to release the email.
- Ask for a new code by selecting “Resend Code” (re-check the steps above before going to step 4).
- If you still don’t get the code, ask your school’s database administrator to make sure your contact details match your ParentSquare account. Once they update your details, it might take up to 24 hours for the change to be reflected.
If you still don’t get the code after doing all this, ask your school administrator to contact the ParentSquare support team.
For users who are new to ParentSquare
Welcome to ParentSquare! Follow these steps to get into your ParentSquare account:
- Ask the school’s database administrator for help! Make sure you are in the school’s system and that your contact details match your ParentSquare account.
- If the teacher or staff don’t know how to help, ask them to find the right person at the school or district. Each district has someone who manages the student information system and ParentSquare.
- After the school updates your contact details, it might take up to 24 hours for the information to show up in ParentSquare.
- If you still can’t get the verification code, ask the school administrator to contact ParentSquare support with as much detail as possible.
