Afterschool Care and Activities

Introduction

Alameda offers a wide range of afterschool programs for youth.  We have provided a short list of options in the tabs below. Please note that due to the volume of requests received and the difficulty of keeping all listings up to date, we have limited the number of programs listed to those that are offered via state funding, those that are non-profits, and those that partner with AUSD.

If your children attend Ruby Bridges, Maya Lin, or Love Elementary Schools, please check the  subsidized afterschool programs under the "ASES" tab below. For before- and afterschool programs available at other sites, please check each school's website.

Afterschool programs for our ASES sites will be chosen and publicized in March. Registration for all afterschool programs will open in April, 2024. Please check back for details and watch for email communications from your school sites.

New to the district? You can find more information in this slide deck about AUSD afterschool programs.

If you would like to advertise your programs with AUSD families, you can submit a flyer via our Peachjar service
