Our schools are the backbone of a thriving Alameda; they are composed of students who come to school well-prepared and eager to learn.  Parents and families are concerned with success and provide outstanding support for their children.  The PTA, school clubs, and many volunteers contribute countless hours and resources to our students and schools.  AUSD’s goal is for our students to gain the skills that will allow them to become successful, confident, contributing members of society. We turn to you as our partner in education and welcome you to get involved either in your child’s classroom, your school site council, your school’s parent community, and/or by teacher mini grants via the Alameda Education Foundation.
