If you are a family with a current AUSD 5th or 8th grade student, you do not have to re-enroll them for 6th or 9th grade. Your student will automatically roll over to their zoned middle or high school, pending any transfer requests or open enrollment applications. All incoming 6th and 9th graders must provide residency verification to their assigned schools. AUSD middle and high schools will send out communications to families in late spring.
