Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten (K) new student enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is fast approaching, with online enrollment opening just two weeks after students return from Winter Break.
New student enrollment is a two-step online process.

Online new student enrollment application will be available on January 22, 2024.

Schedule your processing time after submitting the application starting January 30, 2024. During this time, your enrollment specialist will review and verify your uploaded documents and finalize your student’s enrollment; parent/guardians do not need to be present. You will receive a confirmation email once your student’s enrollment processing is complete.
In the 2024-2025 school year, TK will be offered at Bay Farm School and Earhart, Love, Paden, and Ruby Bridges Elementary Schools. Additional school sites may be added. Students turning 5 between September 2, 2024, and June 2, 2025, are eligible to enroll in the TK program.
Due to the number of TK classes we are opening this year, we are organizing two TK Information Nights for families:

Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 6:30-7:30 pm at Paden Elementary School is for families residing in the Ruby Bridges, Paden, Franklin, Maya Lin, and Love Elementary neighborhoods.

Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 6:30-7:30 pm at Earhart Elementary Schools for families residing in the Edison, Otis, Earhart, and Bay Farm Elementary neighborhoods.
If you cannot make the session designated for your school, you are welcome to attend the other session. The content is the same at both sessions; we just want to be sure all families have a chance to ask any questions they might have.
Kindergarten Information Night will be held in person at each elementary school on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Check your neighborhood school website for more information. As a reminder, students 5 years of age by September 1, 2024, are eligible for kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year.
For families who reside outside the Maya Lin Elementary School zone and are interested in enrolling, open enrollment for grades K-5 also begins January 22, 2024. Student Services will be accepting applications through March 25, 2024.
