After a second full day of mediation today, the bargaining teams for Alameda Unified School District and the Alameda Education Association made progress in coming to conceptual agreements on key articles. The parties have agreed to continue their mediation on February 11, 2026.

AUSD’s bargaining team came to the table today with authority from the Board to add significantly to our initial salary offer and increase our contribution to health care.

We are making progress and remain fully committed to the mediation process. While there is still work to do, we look forward to taking positive momentum from today into the next session.
